What a crappy day at work today. But I did not get up and quit, and believe me I came close.
I'm mostly packed and ready to go -- just a few last-minute things tomorrow. And of course I must spend a lot of time scritching birds tomorrow night . . . enough to last a week.
L will be birdsitting and I know they'll get lots of attention, but still . . . .

Congrats on not quitting. My first job out of college, I would come home crying several times a week because it was THAT awful. I really hope that things tart to get better or you can find something else.
I can't wait to hear about the reaction your birds had for you when you return. I hate leaving my guys, but their happiness upon our return almost makes up for it!
